BSI Racing Brings Points Lead to Road America

Daytona, FL –

August 11, 2025

Westin Workman extended his points championship lead in the Toyota GR Cup North America, with a double-podium, and a win in race two at VIR last month. After a P3 finish in race one, and a win in race two, Workman and BSI Racing look to keep their foot on the gas at Road America.

Workman sits atop the Toyota GR Cup standings with 149 points, 39 points clear of Lucas Weisenberg who sits in second. With three race weekends to go, Workman can make a statement in Wisconsin.

Workman will be joined by rookie teammate Massimo Sunserri, who piloted the “Pasta Rocket” livery to a P14 finish in race two at VIR.

Road America presents drivers with an opportunity for drafting a plenty with the track’s patented long-straights.

“Road America is always a driver's favorite,” said team owner Shea Holbrook.

“ I feel good about where we’re at with both of our drivers. Massimo is getting more and more comfortable, and that’s exciting to watch. Westin has really caught fire, and we expect to keep up the pace with him. We know what’s at stake this weekend.”

Practice begins on Friday with qualifying and races on Saturday and Sunday.
