WESTIN WORKMAN WINS 2025 TOYOTA GR CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

Daytona, FL –

September 8, 2025

It was a weekend that BSI Racing and No. 13 Westin Workman will remember for a long time to come. With two races to go in the Toyota GR Cup, Workman has secured his first driver’s championship in professional motorsports.

After sweeping the weekend on the top step at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Workman and BSI leave the “Alabama Roller Coaster” as deserving champions. This marks the first professional driver’s championship for BSI Racing since team owners Shea Holbrook and Nick Chorley acquired the team in 2021.

Workman, thus far, has racked up five wins on the season. After breaking through to secure his first win in the series at Sebring International Raceway, Workman would run away in race two to secure the weekend sweep.

Workman would battle it out during a hot weekend at Virginia International Raceway in July for a race two victory before cementing his championship hopes with back-to-back wins over the weekend.

All-in-all, Workman, now in year-two in the series, has tallied a total of ten podiums thus far, as the series heads to the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the season finale in October.

“A tremendous feeling,” said Workman.

“Just so great to get here with BSI Racing. I can’t thank them enough. Shea (Holbrook), Nick (Chorley), Mark (Canup), Andrew (Carbonell), everyone just put in so much to make this happen. Thank you to TRD and Endava for their support all year. I couldn’t be happier.”

BSI Racing and Westin Workman proved to be the class of the field all season, something the team owners envisioned when Workman signed on for 2025.

“This is so special,” said Team Owner Shea Holbrook.

“It’s a dream come true for us. When we bought BSI Racing in 2021, this is what we dreamed of doing, winning at the highest level possible. Long hours, late nights, stress, tears, joy, all of it. This is what you work so hard for. This right here is what being BSI Built, our team creed, means.”
