BSI Racing announces the return of Steven Clemons and Clemons Racing for the 2024 Toyota GR Cup season. Now in his second season in the Toyota GR Cup, Clemons will drive the No. 76 Endava – a next-gen technology services company, sponsored livery. Clemons marks the second driver with BSI Racing to represent and be sponsored by the tech company alongside rookie Maddie Aust.
BSI now has a trio of drivers in the series after Steven Clemons led the 2023 season. Clemons joins Aust and another series rookie, Max Hewitt. Now, Clemons looks to build on his rookie season and serve as a leader for the two rookies joining the team.
“Most of 2023, we were a one-car show, and I really look forward to continuing this partnership and working with the other drivers that are under the BSI tent,” said Clemons.
“The team is a family that expects the best of everyone. I look forward to continuing my driver development with BSI, along with more drivers under the same tent while personally working on my own race-craft. Plus, Toyota has really blown it away with this platform and their support has been great on and off track.”
Prior to his participation in GR Cup, Clemons came up through the club racing ranks with BSI, competing in Spec Miata events and even running in a Mazda MX-5 Cup race with BSI at Daytona in 2023.
“We’ve been a part of Steven’s growth since the beginning. Steven possesses calm confidence, is tactful in his race-craft, and knows these cars well. We’re excited to get back to work with him,” said Team Owner Shea Holbrook.
“We’re especially excited to partner with Endava and to further help grow the series by bringing more entries to the grid. Steven put us in a great position last season that ramped up momentum leading into the 2024 season. I expect the best out of our team, we work at the track and away from the track together nonstop. We’ve pumped in new resources this season and will continue to focus on coaching and engineering.”
Clemons and BSI Racing return to the Toyota GR Cup on April 5th for rounds one and two at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.
